How do
you kill a nine hundred and twenty-seven year old
vampire? First, get totally wasted and then stagger to
the nearest grocery store. No wait... let's get this
straight, once and for all. How do you defeat an ancient
and all-powerful vampire? The answer is clearly murky --
assemble a posse of highly skilled inebriates and
sprinkle in a dash of finely cultivated herb. Then
solicit the incoherent advice of one Newfoundlander aunt
and devise a master plan that is thoroughly drenched in
dark rum.
The Crimson Woman is
miraculously unconventional and inventive. Patricia
McCarthy delivers the third offering of her trilogy in
grandiose style, set in the endearing City of Ottawa.
Whether you have previously enjoyed The Crimson
Man or The Crimson Boy, each
story is an experience in its own right, steeped in
eroticism, blood and hilarious eccentricity. McCarthy's
engaging Crimson series is surely destined to become a
cultural phenomenon. You'll be dying to know the fate of
Samuel and Magdalene and their hapless vampire slayers.
Jerome R. Corsi is a staff reporter for WND. He received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in political science in 1972 and has written many books and articles, including his latest best-seller, "The Late Great USA." Corsi co-authored with John O'Neill the No. 1 New York Times best-seller, "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry." Other books include "Showdown with Nuclear Iran," "Black Gold Stranglehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil," which he co-authored with WND columnist Craig. R. Smith, and "Atomic Iran."
Barack Obama stepped onto the national political stage when the then-Illinois state senator addressed the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Soon after Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate, author Jerome Corsi began researching Obama's personal and political background.
Scrupulously sourced with more than six hundred footnotes, THE OBAMA NATION is the result of that research. By tracing Obama's career and influences from his early years in Hawaii and Indonesia, the beginnings of his political career in Chicago, his voting record in the Illinois legislature, his religious training and his adoption of Christianity through to his recent involvement in Kenyan politics, his political advisors and fund-raising associates, and his meteoric campaign for president, Jerome Corsi shows that an Obama presidency, would, in his words, be "a repeat of the failed extremist politics that have characterized and plagued Democratic Party politics since the late 1960s." In this stunning and comprehensive new book, the reader will learn about:
Obama's extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, from his father's and stepfather's Islamic backgrounds, to his Communist and socialist mentors in Hawaii and Chicago, to his long-term and close associations with former Weather Underground heroes William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn - associations much closer than heretofore revealed by the press, Barack and wife, Michelle's, twenty-year-long religious affiliation with the black-liberation theology of former Trinity United Church of Christ Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have always been steeped in a rage first expressed by Frantz Fanon, Stokely Carmichael, and Malcolm X, a rage that Corsi shows has deep meaning for Obama.
Bruce Rawles
The Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook
Fueled by a love of both the mystical and the miraculous within the mundane, Bruce has studied geometry, pattern and form to uncover its deeper implications and symbolism since the early 1970's when he read Secrets of the Great Pyramid by Peter Tompkins and This Living Earth by David Cavagnaro; references to the Golden Section in both books lead to further exploration in high school and opened up worlds of ideas about proportion, harmony and resonance. Perusing these domains took him into such diverse realms as electronic music, archetypal astrology, computer graphics, and ancient architecture. Inspired by Paul Horn's flute music in the Taj Mahal, he created a spreadsheet (before the term existed) of resonant frequencies and harmonics of the passageways and chambers of the Great Pyramid and contacted electronic musician Paul Beaver with the idea of recording music there. Paul was taken with the idea; Bruce took a year off from his studies at UC Davis to travel to Egypt, but the trip as originally envisioned never materialized due to the political climate there in the autumn of 1973.
Nineteen years later, in 1992, after taking a workshop on Sacred Geometry by lecturer and author, Gregg Braden, Bruce fulfilled his dream and recorded sound and music in the Great Pyramid on an Egyptian tour lead by Braden. Gregg also had a catalytic effect of rekindling Bruce's enthusiasm for Sacred Geometry, which ultimately developed into the book, Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook, which has found its way to many diverse locations around the planet since 1997. His website, www.GeometryCode.com contains generous excerpts of both text and imagery from the book. His tutorial page on sacred geometry has enjoyed a top google ranking for over a decade, a reflection of the labor of love the inspiration for this work represents. The site mirrors the principle of interconnectedness, and his blog, www.BruceRawles.com is also an expression of sharing and honoring the enormous diversity of understanding and insight that is growing daily online - the inner community reflected in an evolving awareness of the interwoven fabric of life.
Drunvalo Melchizedek
Serpent of Light
In Serpent of Light (Weiser Books, January 2008), Drunvalo Melchizedek explains and explores how every 13,000 years on Earth a sacred and secret event takes place that changes everything. Mother Earth’s Kundalini energy emerges from its resting place in the planet’s core and moves like a snake across the surface of our world. Once at home in ancient Lemuria, it moved to Atlantis, then to the Himalayan mountains of India and Tibet, and with every relocation changed our idea of what spiritual means. And gender. And heart.
Multi-dimensional, multi-disciplined, and multi-lived, for the first time in this book, Drunvalo begins to tell his stories of 35 years spent in service to Mother Earth. Follow him around the world as he follows the guidance of Ascended Masters, his two spheres of light, and his own inner growing knowledge. His story is a living string of ceremonies to help heal hearts, align energies, right ancient imbalances, and balance the living Earth’s Unity Consciousness Grid— in short to increase our awareness of the indivisibility of life in the universe. We are all—rocks and people and interdimensional beings—one!
“Life may seem to be business as usual, but it is not. We are changing fast . . . Remember this for life is going to present stranger things to you in your lifetime, and they all have meaning and purpose . . . Only Mother Earth and ancient Maya know what’s going to happen.” — from Serpent of Light
